Liverpool Museum - Across the Park
Sparkle* was approached by Hurricane films/National Museums Liverpool in early 2010 to discuss this mammoth project of compiling “the Beatles in Liverpool” story for the new Liverpool Museum, an exhibition with a ten year life span. Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and the Lennon and Harrison estates have given it the go ahead to use our content to decribe the Beatles story. Sparkle* was commissioned to produced all 2D and 3D animated content for the exhibition as well as re-create missing footage using photographs. The technique of 3D project was used to take photographs and bring hem to life as never seen before. The final moving images are displayed in 360 degree screen wrapped around a pod in the heart of the new museum. This scene depicts the Journey from John and Paul's house across Allerton Golf Course. Varying techniques where used to produce the final results, including 3D Tracking, Matte Painting, 3D modelling and Projection
